New York City: Removes Vaccine Requirement

for Private Employers

Effective November 1, 2022, New York City will no longer require employees of private employers to be vaccinated for COVID-19 as a condition of employment in an office in New York City; however, individual businesses have the right to continue the mandate.  In addition, as of that date, private employers will longer be required to check employees and applicants for vaccination status.

City employees and health care workers are still required to obtain vaccinations as a condition of employment in New York City.
